Our registered angus herd started in November 2004 with the purchase of 10 head from Sinclair Cattle Corporation . Since that purchase we have learned the value and performance of the N-Bar bloodlines. Since that time, we have purchased from J&S Angus, Murcielagoe LLC, Express Ranches,and Limestone LLC.; as well as additional animals from Sinclair. Our goal as a registered angus breeder is two fold: First, to raise bulls that can improve performance for both registered and commercial cattle operations. (See our Angus Bulls page for more details.) Second, we breed cattle for easy calving, maintenance and temperment. We strive for low birth weight, above average weaning weight, and moderately high yearling weight through proven bloodlines. We believe that it doesn't pay to have the largest calf and/or cow in the area if it takes all your profits to maintain their body condition. |
